Last week on Thursday, December 2, a freezing cold front moved into Colorado. School was out for Thursday and Friday due to freezing wind and icy roads. This has caused teachers and students to scramble for the upcoming finals week.
Finals are starting on the 16th of this month. Teachers are cramming to finish their lessons and students are struggling to keep up. Tests, quizzes, and random worksheets are stressing out the already panicked students.
Although snow days are what students love the most in winter, it’s a burden to have two right before finals. Any more snow days will be a huge problem for the finals and might even cut into the students’ Winter Break.
These snow days have already pressed the days closer together and are currently causing a lot of stress. It was better that the snow days were when they were rather than the week of finals itself.
If that occurred, that would certainly cut into the school’s vacation
