Noah Epstein is a sophomore at Lewis-Palmer High School who loves skating. He has converted his daily driver into a source of income for him.

“The Skate Tank is a big red van that says “Skate Tank” on the side and the other side has a skeleton on it. and I have 5 Fireteam skateboards. I’m selling those and a couple t-shirts out of it too. That my dad made for us,” said Epstein.

He created the Skate Tank out of necessity and passion for his hobby. Epstein made the Skate Tank into a business so he can give kids and people of Monument a way to get boards, so more people can learn to skate. 

“There’s no good skate shops around Monument, like there’s Zumiez but they don’t really count. And I feel like a lot of people will buy from it,” Epstein said.

Noah Epstein is also sponsored by Fireteam which is a local skate group. Fireteam also graciously supplied Noah with 5 free boards for his business to start. 

“I’m sponsored by this brand called Fireteam skateboarding, and they supply me with the boards and they gave me 5 boards for free. That’s what I’m starting with right now,” said Epstein. 

Epstein is planning on continuing his business well after high school. He wants to make a website so people can find him to buy boards and other skate gear. Epstein hopes this will generate a lot of interest in the sport for young kids and people who wanna try skating.

“Hopefully in 5 years I’ll have a website that shows other people where I am. I’ll have a whole bunch of different brands instead of just Fireteam,” Epstein said,

 “If I’m at a skatepark and a scooter kid wants to start skating I can sell him a board,” said Epstein.
