The Lewis-Palmer High School band program has proven that they have what it takes to make it all the way to state. Director of Bands, Kevin Whitelaw, expects his Wind Symphony to make it to the State Festival at CSU, Ft. Collins on April amongst 28 other bands from around the state.

Band students agree that Lewis Palmer High School Wind Symphony is going to make it to state and do fairly decent when they make it.

Lewis-Palmer High School has shown great improvement in all of its band members and will achieve greatly this year. With the Wind Symphony making it far this year, state qualification will make LP a whole lot stronger.

Senior, Ian McInroe said, “I feel like the wind symphony has a really good shot at state. All of the members got the best score of one“.

Band Director, Kevin Whitelaw said, “Wind Symphony making it to state would continue to show Lewis-Palmer’s tradition of excellence, especially because Wind Symphony has never missed this opportunity”.
