This is the second film for the 300 series.it was released last week. The first movie titled 300 came out in 2006.Both of these movies are rated R and rightfully so.
The movies are filled with gory violence and some nudity. Children are not able to get into this movie without either being 17 or having a parental guardian with them.
This film is actually a prequel and sequel to the original 300 film with the events happening before, concurrently, and afterwards of the events of the previous film.
Although it was a very entertaining movie it was not better than the first. Both have the same basic concept of war and a lot of killing.
After its victory over Leonidas’ 300, the Persian Army under the command of Xerxes marches towards the city of Athens, led by Admiral Themistocles. Themistocles is forced into an alliance with the traditional rival of Athens, oligarchic Sparta. But Xerxes is still more powerful in numbers over sea and land.
