After competing in four Olympics, Michael Phelps has decided to continue swimming towards his fifth Olympics.  Phelps already has a total of 22 medals and being the second highest record holder claims he’s competing in his fifth Olympics for himself, not for the money or medals.

Phelps began swimming at a young age and now holds the title as the greatest all-around competitor in this history of swimming.  After a 20 month retirement he decided he would continue doing what he’s best at. Since Phelps decided he wanted to be back in the water doing what he loves, he has started doing his consistent workouts again, and he will compete in his first competition since the Olympics today.

Phelps is the fastest swimmer in three events and is believed to be able to medal in the next Olympics in Rio.

Michael Phelps is looking forward to continuing his swimming career and getting back into the mentality of competition.
