Ever since hip hop’s birth in the early 80s, there have been countless influential hip hop artists. Rappers like Dr. Dre, Tupac, Kanye West and Eminem have turned the rap world upside down in their own ways, and Lewis-Palmer’s very own freshman Antonio Pacitto hopes to do just that.
Pacitto, also known by his rapper name Nine Callisto, is a Hip Hop artist. His career started as experimentation on his Mac, but after a few tries with some beats he grabbed off the internet, he realized his potential and decided to show his friends and family exactly what he could do.

After Pacitto’s music was heard by many, he received positive feedback by all, which made him decide to try his hand in the rap industry. He released a mix tape that got high praise from critics and new fans. As soon as he finished this project he began to work on his first album, Sinister Flash, which was released in April 2014. After selling nearly 200 hard and digital copies of Sinister Flash, he started to work on his next mix tape which also ended up being a hit.

“I was inspired to start my career because I liked seeing underground rappers start out from nothing to being huge, and I want that rags to riches for me. I was kind of nervous about putting out Sinister Flash because it most likely would have ended my career. I feel the same about my upcoming album Anti-Social. Thankfully, however, I have amazing artists like Cris Travis, Smurf, Gangsta Boo, Purp Dog and Marvin Cruse helping me make this album be the best it can be. After Anti-Social I already have plans to work with artists on their albums and my future albums,” Pacitto said.

Antisocial will be released to the public on iTunes on December 10, and he will be performing at the Zodiac in Colorado Springs on December 21. The future is certainly bright for this young talented artist, and all we can hope for is that the best can come for him.
