French and German teacher Ms. Kathryn Holley in room 213 holds knowledge bowl after school Monday and Wednesday until four. This club is open to all grade levels and knowledge bowl competes with other schools in meets.

Knowledge bowl is very similar to Jeopardy; contestants use a buzzer to answer questions about pop trivia. Meets are held once a month.

Junior Tana Arbury joined knowledge bowl at the beginning of this year.

“It is a fun thing to do; usually we all get together after school to ask questions and talk about them. You do not have to be the best and brightest it is just fun,” Arbury said.

Knowledge bowl competed in regionals at Woodland Park on Monday March 19th. The team won 3rd place. Now the team will be going to states, at Colorado College on April 19 and 20th.

Knowledge Bowl has two teams A and B. The A team is similar to the Varsity level in sports while the B team is similar to Junior Varsity.

Only the A team is competing in finals this year. The top competitors are Air Academy and Rampart.

“You will really enjoy knowledge bowl if you know random facts,” Arbury said.
