The yearbook tells the history of the entire year, and this year will be showcased better than ever. The theme is Look at Us Now, which focuses on the essence of what it means to attend Lewis-Palmer High School.

“The book is great because it shows how our school really is,” next year’s Photo Editor Bree Bek said.

The book has made major improvements over last year. The design is more sophisticated, and the staff has really tried to organize the book in a different way.

“Students enjoyed last year’s book, and this year’s is even better,” Business Manager Matt Saliba said.

Staff members new to the yearbook developed their writing skills which was the focus of improvement to the book this year.

“We didn’t sacrifice creativity for quality,” Brandon Jackson said.

The book strives to show different students throughout the whole book.

“It represents every class in school; we tried to cover more unknown students. It really is about the students,” Assistant Editor-in-Chief Alex Vasser said.

Yearbooks are visual representations of the history of the school year. The photos portray the feeling of life at Lewis-Palmer and attract the reader to the focus of each page. The book is intended to reflect the theme of the year.

“The pictures capture the uniqueness and excellence that our school portrays,” next year’s Photo Editor Bree Bek said.

The editors started the book last spring and have put in countless hours since to make the book the best it can be.

“We want students to enjoy the yearbook and know that we worked on it all year,” Vasser said.

Yearbooks will be distributed on May 4, starting immediately after the Excellence Assembly.
