When people approach the Old Town Monument area, they see antique buildings and long-standing homes. Inside a few of the homes is some businesses but concealed in a very large, old home is the Wisdom Tea House.

Located next to La Casa Fiesta on Second St,  the tea house is in a renovated house and features an outdoor patio where guests can enjoy their food, as well as inside. The restaurant has also won two silver awards in the Indy’s Best of 2013.

When guests enter Wisdom Tea House’s cozy environment, they order at the front desk and can choose their selections from tea, to wraps, salads, soups and seasonal home-baked goods. After ordering, customers can pick their own tea cups from a wide and unique collection. They take a number corresponding to their order and sit where ever they want and wait to be served.

This business is often overlooked because of its inconspicuous location, but Wisdom Tea House produces a relaxing environment. Not to mention their quality food and wide menu options, featuring many gluten-free selections. The two-story building is currently featuring artwork by Susan Fowler and is available for purchase to all visitors.

With excellent customer service and such a comfortable environment, Wisdom Tea House is sure to create an experience that will bring customers back for more.
