On Tuesday, September 22, 2015, the girls volleyball team had a vigorous battle against Coronado. Considering the game was during homecoming week, it made it more important to win.

It’s only tradition to make homecoming week one of the best weeks of a school year. Winning this volleyball game was something the team wanted to accomplish for themselves and the student body at Lewis-Palmer High School.

The girls dominated the first two sets taking a quick 2-0 lead. Coronado came back with a comeback set making it 2-1. Although it was a rough set, the Rangers took the third set sealing the win with a 3-1 score.

“It was super exciting because it felt like we represented the school in a good way.” Elizabeth Reich, 11, said. “The crowd was just as excited and pumped as the entire team was. It was so much fun.”

The team had a blast winning the homecoming game and the support from the crowd made it more fun.
