For several years, class color day had been a tradition around Lewis-Palmer High School Prom spirit week. Freshman are hidden behind yellow, sophomores bloom in green, juniors rock their best blue all while the seniors shine in royal red.

“I love class color day as a spirit day, it really draws attention to the seniors before they graduate,” senior Mikey Moss said.

Even with Colorado’s notorious April blizzards and an early dismissal the day before on Thursday the 18th, the seniors didn’t let the weather bring their spirits down.

With this being their last spirit day ever at LP, the lucky ’13 are trying to squeeze in as many memories as they can before graduation at the end of May.

Seniors have been waiting four long years to wear red to school and student council saved class color day for prom spirit week so it was even more anticipated.

“Class color day doesn’t just correlesque the senior class as a whole, it corals the school into separation and unity thus creating a better atmosphere, school and world,” student body president Matt Prudhomme said.

The seniors will definitely go out with a bang this year before they flip their tassels on May 24th at the Air Force Academy.
