Are out looking for a good movie to see over the weekend? Go see Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2. This movie is the sequel to Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.

These movies are both based on children’s books written by Judi Barrett. They are primarily children’s movies but still manage to appeal to teenagers and adults.

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2’s plot was about living “foodimals” who have taken over the main characters home island. The moral to be gathered from the movie is that animals can have human emotions and should be treated like people are treated. The secondary moral is friendship is more important than personal success.

The sense of humor in this movie is mostly pun jokes with funny animal names and clever plays on words. There is also a little potty humor with people farting and making jokes about poop.

When I saw it I was laughing a lot throughout the whole movie. I enjoyed the type of humor they used. The characters that were involved in this movie were all great.

This movie is definitely worth going to see in theaters with family or even friends. I definitely think it’s entertaining for all age groups.
