Students at school lunches, if they have the ability too, would much rather leave school for lunch rather than stay. Although lower classmen cannot go off campus at lunch, when they become upper classmen they all want to go off campus every single day.

With many choices of lunch destinations surrounding the Lewis-Palmer area, students have many choices in which they can go for lunch. Some places that students can go include; McDonalds, Taco Bell, Wal-Mart, Subway, and many more.

Although lower classmen aren’t supposed to go off campus, they can actually bypass the rule and get a signature from their parents stating that they are allowed to go off campus. Due to the ability of allowing lower classmen to get off campus, many of the school ends up going out to lunch. There are many reasons for staying on campus at the same time too.

Sometimes the price of food when going out to lunch costs a little more than staying at school. When also sometimes going out to lunch costs about the same or maybe a little less than the school cafeteria depending on the place that you go.

Since lower classmen don’t feel the need to get a lunch pass, because they most likely don’t have a car or any cash, they tend to stay at school. The price of gas and food also brings students to a “carpool” conclusion when they go out to lunch.

With the many destinations of lunch for Lewis-Palmer High School students, they  tend to want to go out to lunch more than staying at school. Lower classmen know that having no transportation or money can make it hard to get lunch off of campus.
